Multimedia Class Creates Video Games

Multimedia students Drake and Karl are building their own video games from Scratch.  Scratch is a programming interface developed by MIT to encourage students to become interested in gaming technology, and to give them a platform to start creating games with simplified code.

Project description from MIT’s Scratch website:
“As young people create and share Scratch projects, they learn important mathematical and computational ideas, while also learning to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively.”

You can see Drake’s first game, Absorboids, and his second game, EarthBound, on the Scratch Project website!
